  • 1&4: Azure, a lion rampant double-queued barry of ten argent and gules and ducally crowned or with a bordure compony of the second and third for difference (arms of Louis II, Grand Duke of Hess with difference for the morganatic marriage of their father Prince Alexander of Hess (3rd son of Louis II, Grand Duke of Hess) to Countess Julia Hauke, created Princess of Battenberg.
  • 2&3: Argent, two pallets sable (Battenberg, arms of Countess Julia Hauke, created Princess of Battenberg)
